I got this Scarlet Darkness Floral Mini Dress for my 14-year-old. We got a small for her (she's 5’5” and quite skinny), and it fits great.
She wasn't happy with how low cut it was at first, but I was able to adjust the ties on the shoulders to pull it up higher for her, and then it was modest enough for her comfort and fit her well.
The bodice cinches in lightly at the waist and then flares out into a swirly skirt. The skirt is two layers of fabric to give it a little layered effect. The length is short but not excessively so for a young person.
The fabric is that thin polyester that acts a lot like rayon, but it looks and feels nice for a summer dress. It shouldn't wrinkle too easily and will be simple to machine wash, so that's a plus. It isn't see-through enough to need something underneath. And it has pocketssss.
The yellow floral design is fresh and charming. This dress has a '90s vintage feel to it that I find a pleasant throwback!
