Our cats loved this Taruphic Automatic Hanging Interactive Cat Toy right away. It was easy to install on the ceiling, and the kitties were immediately drawn to batting at it and trying to hold it down to have a little gnaw.
That was my biggest problem with it, though: One of our cats can't get enough of elastic string, so this was a smorgasbord for her. We've had to retie it several places where she bit through, and we can't leave her unsupervised because we don't want her to swallow any elastic string. I debated on 3 stars vs 4 for this reason but wondered if this loving to eat elastic specifically is just a problem with our cat!
I also don't like that the adhesive is permanent. I wish it could be moved around to other areas.
Other than that, the toy is really fun. It has good bounce and erratic movements where the elastic pulls back and forth from the reel, and the little toy at the end is appealing. Though not as appealing as that darn string!
