The Clovilet Halloween Crayon Costume came with a cone hat, tutu, socks, and t-shirt. I'll be honest that I got it mostly for the tutu because I needed extra fluffiness for under my kid’s other costume, but she and I tried on all the pieces in this costume to make an informed review and to see if this could be a backup costume for either of us. I got the XL size because I wanted as much fabric as possible for the tutu.

The shirt was a men's / unisex XL. It's actually a really nice quality t-shirt made of 100% cotton that can and will be worn post-Halloween. It's not very cute or sexy, if that's what you're going for, but it would be modest on a kid.

The tutu is a little small. My daughter could wear the XL without it slipping off and she's an XS in women's. It does have a very stretchy waistband, though. I'm larger than an XL so didn't want to stretch it out or rip it by trying it on, but I'd say to size up if you're between sizes. Lengthwise, the XL would hit top of the thigh on an average woman or a little lower for a kid, pretty short for a skirt. The waistband is kind of sloppy so it's not a very flattering type of skirt, but it is puffy and bright.

The socks were really tight. I tried to get them on and gave up. I wear size 10.5 in women's shoes and have wide calves, and it just wasn't happening. If you're in a similar range, expect to need different socks.

The hat was petite around as well but not as bad as I was fearing. It fit the top of my huge head but fit my kid a lot better. But you would need to secure the hat with bobby pins because it's going to blow or get knocked off immediately.

They obviously don't give you bigger socks or hats for the bigger sizes, I think just a bigger shirt and possibly tutu.

All that said, it's a very cute costume set. The colors are bright and well matched among the items. I think a kid could enjoy this costume, maybe with some leggings under the tutu since it's so skimpy, or a smaller adult. If you're an XL or above like me, I'd look for something made more exclusively for larger sizes for the comfort level.
