I’ve had plantar fasciitis in the past and was hoping the Vive Plantar Fasciitis Stretcher would work as a gentle overnight stretcher to keep my foot flexed and help my tight calves. The description now says it’s meant for short daytime sessions, which surprised me since it looks like an overnight brace.
That said, it’s quite comfortable. The large size fits my 10.5 W women’s foot easily, and the adjustable straps make it simple to get a snug but not restrictive fit.
My only real complaint is that I can’t pull my foot back quite as far as I’d like for a real calf stretch. There’s a limit to how tight you can go before the straps max out, and for anyone with especially tight calves or prone to Charley horses like me, it might not provide a strong enough stretch.
I may still experiment with wearing it at night on alternating feet to see if it helps keep my calves looser, but for now it feels best suited for light, controlled stretching during the day. Overall, it’s well-made, lightweight, and very adjustable, just not as powerful a stretch as I was hoping for.
