We got these YINGCSM Men's Non-Slip Waterproof Lightweight Work Shoes for someone with sensory sensitivities who needed some “real” shoes for semi-formal occasions that weren't Crocs. He can put them on easily by himself because of the Velcro and underlying elastic, so that's a huge plus. They're also lightweight enough not to bother him too much.

The construction seems solid and unusually high quality and materials for a cheaper shoe. The leather is synthetic, but it has a nice look and feel to it that isn't super plasticky.

There's a decent amount of cushioning in the insole and especially the heel, which is nice for wearing throughout a long event. The soles are nonslip rubber, useful for wet and icy conditions.

The look isn't inspired, but no one will stare at them. They're a decent budget work shoe that will also do well enough for dressier occasions (think wedding guest, not groom).
