My cats get hairballs even with regular brushing. I usually go with a petroleum jelly-based treat when things get bad, but these BuddyCheer Cat Hairball Care Chews looked intriguing and I liked the sound of the ingredients.

Instead of relying on indigestible coating ingredients like petrolatum, these treats feature rich oils from fish and coconut, probiotics and prebiotics for gut health, and natural fibers from apples, pumpkin, and psyllium husk to organically keep the hairs healthy to lessen hair loss, and then to break down and move them along if they are eaten. 

I'll have to see how these treats perform against my standard petroleum treats, but I'm happy to report my barfiest cat loves the taste, so she's a willing test subject. I'll report back with any updates!
