Yes, they pulled their hay out all over their cage. Why do you ask? |
I picked up these
ARTKIDA Organic Apple Sticks for our guinea pigs. They’ll nibble on them here and there, but they’re
definitely not obsessed. I’ve noticed they mainly go for them when they’ve finished the tastier stuff or just want
something firm to gnaw on.
The sticks themselves look clean and natural, with a good variety of sizes in the bag. No odd smells, no dust, and they feel freshly dried rather than brittle. You get a lot of them, so the value is solid if your pets are enthusiastic chewers.
As for species: Apple sticks are safe and appropriate for guinea pigs, rabbits, chinchillas, hamsters, and gerbils. Some animals go wild for them, but guinea pigs tend to be picky and often prefer softer hay-based chews or flavored options. So in our case it’s not a problem with the product, just personal preference from our resident food-critic piggies.
Overall, these are good-quality apple sticks. Our pigs treat them as occasional backup chews, but I can see other small pets loving them more. Great value if your pet is an apple-stick fan.
