The
Seniny Electric Candle Warmer Lamp is a surprisingly elegant and effective way to enjoy candle scents
without actually lighting a wick. The lamp warms the wax from above, and within a few minutes the top layer softens and starts releasing fragrance. My test candle melted evenly and produced a
strong, clean scent.
The build is nicer than expected for the price. The arm is height-adjustable and even swings out so you can easily get jars on and off the base. The warm glow is cozy and makes it feel more like décor than an appliance.
The dimmer and timer controls are simple to use, 2, 4, or 8 hours, and the cord is a good length for placing this on a shelf or desk. It comes with two halogen GU10 bulbs. They’re a specialty style, so replacements run about $1.50-$3 each if you buy them in multipacks. They do need to be halogen (not LED), since the heat is what melts the wax.
As for safety: Most electric warmers are considered safe to run for several hours, but I personally wouldn’t leave it unattended for the whole day. The timer makes that easy to avoid, and it’s still far safer than a traditional lit flame, especially in places where candles aren’t allowed, like offices, clinics, or dorms.
Overall: pretty, functional, and works exactly as advertised. I’m gifting this to my candle-loving son for Christmas, and I think he’ll get a ton of use out of it.
