I picked up The Coding Cards SQL and NoSQL Beginner/Advanced Flashcards for my kid, who’s a student of data analytics, and I’m genuinely impressed with how well these cards are put together, even as someone who doesn’t write code myself.

The deck includes 52 cards covering SQL basics (SELECT, WHERE, JOINs, functions, etc.) along with helpful NoSQL concepts (a family of database types). Everything is laid out clearly with quick “key points,” example queries, and easy-to-scan explanations. My kid flipped through them right away and said the examples line up nicely with what he’s learning in class.

I checked a few of the cards myself, things like NULL values, DELETE, and different JOIN types, and the examples appear accurate and consistent with standard SQL syntax.

Physically, the cards feel sturdy with a nice finish, and the printing is crisp and readable. They fit neatly in the little storage box, and the whole set feels polished. It’s a great tool for reviewing before quizzes, brushing up on concepts, or just having an offline reference that’s easier to flip through than scrolling tutorials.

Overall, a very solid learning aid: thoughtful, organized, and student-friendly. Great for anyone studying SQL or data concepts, and a nice little gift for a tech-minded student.
