I wanted to get my newly adult son some travel bottles for toiletries like shampoo and hair gel, and these four
ZLSSETEC Travel Bottles for Toiletries are perfect for that purpose. They're the
regulation TSA-allowed size, which is more than generous for a typical trip, and they come in a clear zipper pouch that can go through liquids screening.
I like the silicone material of the bottles: squishy and easy to squeeze out the product. I tested the water-tightness of the bottles by filling them all with water and leaving them overnight, occasionally giving them a little squeeze. All of them passed the leak test. The muted colors are sophisticated and give them a nice look.
My one fear about these bottles is that the flip-top cap feels brittle and flimsy. I suspect that's where the first failure point will be, but time will tell. It feels just like other flip-tops I've had that have broken off, so that's why I deducted a star. I think it's a convenient lid but not necessarily the most secure, particularly for travel. I'd individually baggie these bottles when traveling, as I typically do with liquid toiletries, just in case.
I appreciate the included labels, but they could have used an extra round of translation editing. There's “cleansing water” and “emmolent water” AND “emulsion,” not to mention “ESSENCE” and “Washing fine.” Honestly, that just gave me a laugh and will for my son, too, but it would be more convenient to have more generic labels along with several blank ones to write in your own products.
A note about the listing: It's misleading to list it as a 6-pack since that implies 6 bottles. It's 4 bottles plus the labels and the bag. The listing picture is accurate.
Overall, very happy with this set and am looking forward to giving it to my son for his travels!
