My kid upgraded to this FDM 3D Printer Glue Spray from her usual glue stick, and it’s worked well so far.

She does a lot of 3D printing (PLA and PETG), and this spray has been straightforward to apply: Spray lightly on a clean bed, let it dry, then print. Adhesion has been reliable, especially for prints that used to lift or warp at the corners.

Compared to a glue stick, this applies more evenly and doesn’t leave thick streaks or clumps. You do have to be cautious where you spray the stream. Filament holds well during printing and still releases without excessive force once cooled. Like most bed adhesives, it does leave some residue, so occasional cleaning of the build plate is needed.

I appreciate that it’s clearly labeled for common filaments and includes temperature guidance. The spray bottles are a decent size at a good value, and a little goes a long way, so it should last a while with regular use.

Pros:

  • Strong, consistent bed adhesion
  • Easier and more even than a glue stick
  • Works well for PLA and PETG
  • Simple spray application

Cons:

  • Leaves residue that requires plate cleaning
  • Overspray means you’ll want to be mindful of where you apply it

Overall, this has been a solid replacement for a glue stick and a convenient option for improving print reliability, especially for hobbyists or younger makers who want consistent results without fiddling with DIY solutions.
